Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the current Vice President of the UAE and a member of the Royal Family of Abu Dhabi studied here.
Mansour Al Nahyan graduated with a Bachelor's in International Affairs. Sheikh Mansour also owns the City Football Group. The City Football Group owns many football clubs, including the EPL club, Manchester City FC.

No, UAE University is not the #1 university in the country. It ranks #2 in the latest Shiksha Rankings. The Khalifa University in Abu Dhabi is the #1 university in UAE. It ranks among the top 300 universities in the world. Shiksha ranks it #270 in the world.
The UAE university ranks only 4 spots behind in the global rankings at #274.

The UAE University is not free for Indian students. Students have to pay a tuition fee in the range AED 1,900-AED 2,500 or INR 46.7 K-INR 61.4 K per credit hour to pursue UG courses. Students interested in PG courses have to pay in the range AED 1,600-AED 3,600 or INR 39.3 K-INR 88.5 K per credit hour.
