In general, Bonn University offers 200 degrees at UG and PG levels for international students. The range of courses offered by this university includes international degree programs, few of which lead to a double degree in cooperation with a partner university. These are mostly programs that are taught in English. Furthermore, international applicants are required to provide evidence of adequate German skills before starting a degree programme at Bonn University that is taught in German.

Studying at the University of Bonn is free of charge for international students. Though, there is no Bonn University tuition fee, students are required to pay a semester fee. On top of this, students are required to pay around €800 – €1000 a month as living expenses. Also, students are required to take health insurance when they enroll at Bonn University

The University of Bonn offers a number of scholarships, including the following:
1. Scholarship: A DAAD-STIBET I scholarship is available to foreign students traveling to Bonn from partner universities as part of the Global Exchange Program. Though it isn't stated as completely financed, this grant is open to students from partner colleges.
2. Scholarship: The Deutschlandstipendium is a long-term grant given to exceptionally talented and responsible students. It is awarded and managed by the University of Bonn Foundation. No, the University of Bonn does not provide any accommodation to its students as enrollment in a degree course in Germany does not ensure accommodation to students.
