The below table mentions the minimum eligibility required to pursue some of the popular BSc specialisations at Mumbai University:

BSc Specialisation

Eligibility Criteria

General

A pass in Class 12 with Science stream or from the Vocational stream

Computer Science

A pass in Class 12 with Mathematics and Statistics as subjects

Information Technology (IT)*

A pass in Class 12 with Mathematics and Statistics with a minimum of 45% aggregate (40% for reserved category students)

Aviation

A pass in Class 12 with English, Mathematics and Physics OR Those with a 3-year Diploma in Engineering (IT / Computer Technology /Computer Engineering /CS / Electrical, Electronics & Video Engineering & allied branches / Mechanical & allied branches / Chemical & allied branches / Civil & allied branches)

Admission criteria to Mumbai University is both, merit and entrance based and is different for all programmes. To get into UG programmes, the eligibility criteria is the minimum aggregate in Class 12 or equivalent, along with entrance exams for a few courses. However, the eligibility criteria to get into PG programmes is graduation in any discipline (this may vary from course to course), along with entrance exams for a few courses.

If any candidate is unable to receive the OTP while applying at Mumbai University, they should try resending or reloading the sent OTP. Wait for atleast 15-20 minutes or change the current network settings. If this does not fix the problem of OTP not getting loaded, try using a different Email Id or phone number.

Yes, admissions are possible to the BTech course at DY Patil University, Navi Mumbai without the JEE Main rank through MHT CET. Securing good scores in the MHT CET is very important. Hence, the students must work hard and secure good marks for successful admission to the BTech course.

For the B.Com (Aided) programme, the third round cutoff percentage for admission to the Mulund College was 73.60 for the Open category. For B.Com (A & F) / BAF courses, the cutoff was 86.67 for Open, 76.83 for OBC and 72.67 for the SC category candidates.

For B.Com. (Accounting & Finance) admission at Model College, affiliated with Mumbai University, the cutoff percentage is 52 in the third round for the General category students. For OBC, the cutoff percentage is 50. Candidates can check out the category-wise cutoff percentage in the table below:
