According to Quacquarelli Symonds World University Rankings 2025, the University of Southern California Quacquarelli Symonds ranking is #125. This university ranked at #116 in 2024. Though there is a slight decline in QS rankings of the university, it has still managed to stay among the Top 200 Universities in the world. Additionally, some of the subjects of this university have been ranked in 2025 namely Masters in Supply Chain Management, Global MBA, and Masters in Business Analytics.

In the U.S. News & World Report ranking, the University of Southern California ranking is #27 in 2025 in the National Universities category. In the previous year, this university ranked at #28. So, in the latest edition of National Universities ranking, this university's ranking improved. In the Global Universities category, this university ranked at #79 in 2024-25. Also, some of the university's courses have been ranked in 2025 such as UG Business at #9 and UG Computer Engineering at #19.
