Placements of this college are quiet good as the last year's average pack is around 2.25 LPA which is quite good and the companies that visit this campus are Elysian Corptech, Snapdeal, etc.

UPES is a very great college for petroleum engineering. It is only known for its petroleum courses. It not only offers courses like designing, but also BBA and B.Sc. It provides quality education for the students. We are having great workshops and great events on a daily purpose. Faculty members here are also very helpful. They have a direct contact with the government as well. UPES has offered handsome packages in CS branch. As there are many specializations, the package varies from branch to branch. The highest package offered was around INR. 16 Lacs per annum. In my knowledge, the maximum package in MMM from ON campus placement has been about INR. 6.5 lacks per annum. Although people have gone for higher packages in the off campus placement. What eventually matters is the ability rather than the college. So, choose wisely.

Well, it is tough to tell the average placement of a particular course but overall, UPES has an excellent placement record. In 2017, more than 1400 students were placed in reputed national and international firms such as Adobe, Armstrong, Amazon, Aditya Birla Solar, Birlasoft, Think & Learn, Cognizant, Desmania, DHL Global, GM, Grasim Industries, Glencore, JLL, Microsoft, Weatherford Drilling International, Shreyas Relay Systems, Mount Meru and many more. UPES is one of the best institute among the top colleges in Northen India. Students make a lot effort to get it. In it mining and shipping management studies are super smart. Placements records are very high. You will get placement easily if you work a little hard and smart.

Placements 2017 at UPES started at a high note with around 500 students getting offers from top-notch companies like Accenture, IBM, Dell R&D, Nestle, L&T Infotech, Maruti, Philips Carbon Black, Reliance Industries, Tata Technologies, GATI KWE etc. To name a few for further details on placement mail the college at placements@upes.ac.in.
