VIT Pune has a good placement record. In 2024, the highest package was INR 51 LPA and the average package was around INR 9 LPA. Students from CSE and IT branches got average packages of INR 12–13 LPA. Top companies like NVIDIA and GoDaddy offered up to INR 38–40 LPA. Big recruiters like Microsoft, Amazon, Infosys, and TCS also visit the campus. For admission in engineering at VIT Pune, MHT CET score is valid, especially for the Maharashtra state quota. Overall, VIT Pune is a strong choice for engineering with good placements and career growth.

Pune Institute of Computer Technology (PICT) offers better placements and has a more reputable programme compared to Vishwakarma Institute of Technology (VIT) in terms of package and better placement percentage

Vishwakarma Institute of Technology provides placement to about 80% of it's students in companies like Oracle, Tata Technologies, Mercedes-Benz, Atlas Copco India Ltd., Texas Instruments, Cognizant, Murugappa Group, Trident Group, Sudarshan Chemical Industries Ltd., Honeywell, ZS Associates, Godrej Infotech Ltd., Forbes Marshall, Whirlpool India Ltd. and Barclay's. In 2022, the average package received by students is 6.2LPA. The highest package recorded was received by students in Computer Engineering as well as Electronics and Telecommunications which was 44 LPA. The highest average package for a stream was recorded by Computer Engine

Vishwakarma Institute of Information Technology (VIIT) is situated at Pune, Maharashtra. VIIT Pune placements 2023 had been initiated and the institute has already engaged with 240 recruiters.
