As per unofficial sources, VIT Bhopal alumni are working in top national and multinational companies such as Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Oracle, TCS, etc. They work in various sectors such as Engineering, Operations, Business Development, Marketing, Sales and more. Of all the sectors, 40% of alumni work in the Engineering sector. Additionally, 15% and 11% of alumni work in the IT and Operations sectors. The detailed sector-wise alumni placement record is shown below:

As per the media reports, a total of 184 students from the 2023 graduating batch received Pre-Placement offers (PPO) during their summer internship. The pre-placement offers were made by companies, including Microsoft (22 offers), DE Shaw (2 offers), Fidelity investments (24 offers), JP Morgan (82 offers), Wells Fargo (8 offers), Infosys (7 offers), The Math company (32 offers) and Schneider Electric (7 offers).

As per the latest report, the participating recruiters presented 12,579 offers to the batch 2025 of courses like BTech, MTech and MCA, etc., with handsome packages. The VIT Bhopal highest package offered during the 2025 placement drive stood at INR 100 LPA. When it comes to the placement rate, VIT Bhopal recorded 87% overall placement rate in the academic year 2023-2024.
