WBJEE Cut-off

UEM Kolkata cutoff 2024 has been released for WBJEE on the basis of which admission to the BE/ BTech courses take place. As per the WBJEE Round 3 cutoff 2024, the closing rank ranged between 8796 and 68436 for the stdudents belonging to the General category under the AI quota. Among all the BTech specilisations, Computer Science and Engineering was the most competitive course at UEM Kolkata with a closing rank of 8796. 

Adamas University Kolkata cutoff 2024 has been released for WBJEE on the basis of which admission to the BE/ BTech courses take place. As per the WBJEE Round 3 cutoff 2024, the closing rank ranged between 54950 and 107113 for the stdudents belonging to the General category under the AI quota. Among all the BTech specilisations,  Electronics and Communication Engineering was the most competitive course at Adamas University Kolkata with a closing rank of 54950. For Biotechnology, the WBJEE Round 3 closing rank stood at 91172. 

Techno Main Salt Lake cutoff 2024 has been released for WBJEE, on the basis of which admission to the BE and BTech courses takes place. As per the WBJEE Round 3 cutoff 2023, the closing rank ranged between 6854 and 109730 for students belonging to the General AI category. Among all the BTech specilisations, Computer Science and Engineering was the least competitive course at Techno Main Salt Lake,  with a closing rank of 6854. Techno India University cutoff 2024 has been released for WBJEE, on the basis of which admission to the BE/BTech courses takes place. As per the WBJEE Round 3 cutoff 2024, the closing rank ranged between 21382 and 108510 for the students belonging to the General category under the AI quota. Among all the BTech specilisations, Mechanical Engineering was the most competitive course at Techno India University,  with a closing rank of 21382. For the CSE course, the WBJEE Round 3 cutoff rank stood at 39661 for the General AI quota. 

The cutoff for WBJEE 2024 will be made available online at wbjeeb.nic.in. After considering a number of aspects pertaining to the entrance exam, the authorities will be ready and disseminated. There will be distinct deadlines announced for each round of WBJEE counselling. Applicants with greater prospects of admission are those who meet the WBJEE cutoff. Additional considerations will be taken into account for admissions in addition to the cutoff. The WBJEE cutoff will include both the admissions opening and closing ranks.

The closing rank of Calcutta University for Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) in the past three years has shown a declining trend. In 2021, the last round closing rank for CSE was 735 for General category students, which decreased to 725 in 2022. However, in 2023, there was an increase in the closing rank, reaching 1207. This data indicates a fluctuating trend in the cutoff ranks for CSE at Calcutta University, with 2023 being the most competitive year with the highest closing rank. These figures highlight the evolving competitiveness of the CSE programme at Calcutta University

The Institute of Engineering and Management Kolkata admission to the BTech courses is based on WBJEE scores, followed by the WBJEE Counselling process. As per the IEM Kolkata cutoff 2023, the last round closing rank for Information Technology was 39862 for the General All India category stduents. During the IEM Kolkata cutoff 2022, the last round closing rank stood at 5726 and in 2021 it closed at 4016 for BTech in IT programme. So, comparing the last round closing ranks for all the three years, IEM Kolkata witnessed a huge decline for BTech in CSE programm.
