I cant say if its good enough for you, but if you do plan do do it, then its worth the time and money. And since you have a background in finance you could either stick to it and go for finance or shift to sales. Its purely based on your liking.

XIME Has a curriculum that is more industry based. There are IVs, and talks held by guest lectures. Apart from this XIME has a foreign exchange program with one of its partner universities abroad and also a winter internship program with NGO's called as SUPA. As far as placements is concerned, the average is around 7. So a higher ROI then most.

Yeah. Xime is very strict. Or more you can say it was strict. But fortunately or unfortunately, there has been a change in the dean, and the new dean is relaxing many of the non-sense rules that were present. It still is strict but has been brought down to a more managable level of strictness. But then again, You need a college to be strict as it kind of trains you for corporate life as well. So all I can say is that, yes the rumours are true, but changes are happening as we speak about it.

The CAT cutoff is pretty much fixed at 70%tile. And I don't think there is any quota basis for admission based on sister colleges. You can drop a mail to the admin at http://xime.org/enquiry.php. They will be able to shed some light on this. Good luck!
