BDS is the flagship course of Yenepoya Dental College and Hospital. As per the NIRF report 2024, the median package offered during BDS 2023 stood at INR 6 LPA. Further, the placement rate recorded during BDS placements 2023 was 100%. Earlier, the median package offered during Yenepoya Dental College BDS placements 2021 stood at INR 4.48 LPA. Besides, a total of 46 students out of 48 students were placed during BDS placements 2022.

Yenepoya Dental College and Hospital provides scholarships to meritorious students. Those who have secured an All India Rank below 1,000 are eligible to apply for the scholarship. A 50% scholarship in the course fee is provided to the candidates. One seat is reserved for meritorious students, opted via MCC and allotted a confirmed seat in the college. In case of more than one applicant for a particular course, the student with better rank is given the allotment.

The answer to this question depends on the course opted by the candidates. In case of BDS and MDS, aspirants must pass NEET-UG and NEET-PG, respectively. For all other courses, the selection is based on merit of the aspirants in the last qualifying exam. During the counselling, the seats in BDS and MDS courses is allocated based on the ranks of the aspirants in the accepted entrance exam.

Yenepoya Dental College and Hospital admissions are primarily entrance-based. The college considers NEET-UG score for admission to BDS programme whereas, NEET-PG score is considered for MDS. Besides, admission to Diploma and BSc course at YDCH is based on merit of the candidates in the last qualifying exam. The merit list is prepared based on entrance exam score or merit of the candidates. Aspirants once allotted seats, need to pay the course fee to confirm their admission.
