Zeal college admissions are entrance based. The institute accepts the scores of various entrance examinations to offers admission in various undergraduate and postgraduate level programmes. Zeal College of Engineering and Research admission to the BE programme is made on the basis of MHT CET or JEE Main and admission in the ME programmes can be made through GATE or GPAT. ZCOER Pune accepts the scores of MAH MBA CET/ CAT/ XAT/ CMAT/ MAT/ ATMA/ GMAT to offer admission to the MBA programme.

The college does not offer admission in any of its programme through the management quota. Admissions in all the programmes at Zeal college are offered on the basis of merit and marks obtained by candidates in the qualifying examination. Candidates who want to take admission in any of the programme at ZCOER Pune must have to appear for the entrance examination.

According to the verified Shiksha reviews, Zeal College of Engineering and Research provides decent placement opportunities to its students.
