Delhi Institute of Heritage Research and Management is offering various courses, the entrance exam of which will be held on 19th July, 2011. The courses offered will be Master in Archaeology and Heritage Management and Master in Conservation, Preservation and Heritage Management. Delhi Institute of Heritage Research and Management entrance exams will take place at 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. thereafter, Group Discussions will be held from 2:30 p.m. onwards. The Written Test will be of 3 hours duration and divided into 4 Sections.

The written test will be separate for both the courses and will carry 100 marks each.

Eligibility Criteria

He/she is a graduate from an Indian or recognised foreign university or has passed an examination recognised as equivalent to a degree; and possesses such other qualifications as may be prescribed by the Academic Council from time to time.
The students should have sufficient knowledge of /or practical experience in the subject in which he/she seeks admission

Details of Group Discussion

The group discussion will be held at 2.30 p.m. on the same day after the written test and will carry total marks of 50. The discussion topic will be theme based. Also, the criteria under consideration will be the approach of a candidate towards the subject. The criteria for assessment will be based upon:

The general level of confidence of the candidate
His or her ability to defend his view point
Comprehensive knowledge about various issues
Conduct in a multiple group setting

Final Selection will be on the basis of merit of the aggregate marks of the:

a) Written Test &
b) Group Discussion

There will also be an admission test fee of Rs. 250/- which shall not be refunded in any circumstances.

Academic Fee per Semester : Rs. 5100/-
Security Deposit (Laboratory and Library) (one time payment at the time of admission refundable): Rs. 3000/-
Other University dues per annum : Rs. 10,000/-
Total Fee (at the time of admission) : Rs. 18,100/-
