Dinesh Might Have Been Unhappy with His Marks in IIT-JEE, say friends
In the latest revelation regarding Dinesh Ahlawat suicide, the police officials have found that the IITian did not want to study Chemical Engineering and unhappy with his low rank achieved in the IIT-Joint Entrance Examination. The information was given to the police by Dinesh's friends. According to sources, Ahlawat, joined the institute 20 days back and was a happy and normal youngster and did not seem sad or disturbed. However, his friends say that he had not attended any classes since 2nd of August.
18 year old Ahlawat was from Haryana's Rohtak, and a first-year Chemical Engineering student of IIT-Delhi. He allegedly committed suicide inside a room of the campus on 4th August around 5:30 pm. It was Dinesh's friends who broke the ventilator to enter his room, as he did not respond to their knocking of the door. According to the police, there is no evidence to suggest any foul play in the incident and the investigations are going on.
The body has been sent to AIIMS for postmortem and the family members were informed.
