GSHSEB (The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board) HSC Results 2011 of general stream will be declared today on 26^th May, 2011. Students can collect their marksheets from the school premises at 10am.

This year a total of 29,517 students from Ahmedabad appeared for Std XII Commerce examinations. The exams were conducted at 104 buildings, six zones, 14 centres and 14 sub-centres of the city. From the rural section, a total of 17, 924 students sat for the examinations from 15 main centres and one sub-centre.

This will be the first occasion when students will be graded on the basis of percentiles instead of percentages. The calculation of percentiles will be mentioned at the back of the marksheet for the students' perusal. Moreover, in order to release pressure on students, GSHSEB will not declare the list of toppers.
