Kurukshetra University Entrance Examination 2011
Kurukshetra University Entrance Examination for M.tech Programmes is to be held on 8th, August 2011. This entrance exam is being conducted for M.tech Energy and Environmental Management and M.Tech Instrumentation Engineering Programmes. M.tech Energy and Environmental Management will be held at 10 a.m and M.Tech Instrumentation Engineering will be at 11 a.m.
The available number of seats for Kurukshetra University Entrance Examination for both the programmes is 20. One additional seat will be provided to the Kashmiri migrants.
Eligibility for Kurukshetra University Entrance Examination:
For M.tech in Energy and Environmental Management:
He/she should have completed B.Tech. /B.E. /M.Sc. Environment Science or any allied subject of Life Sciences/Physical Sciences/ Earth Science with aggregate of 55% marks.
For M.Tech Instrumentation Engineering:
Applicants should have completed B.E./B.Tech or its equivalent in Instrumentation/Electronics & Instrumentation/ Electronics/ Electrical & Electronics/ Electronics & Communication, Electrical & Instrumentation and Control Engg. /Applied Electronics and Instrumentation/Bio-medical Instrumentation/Engg with aggregate of 55% marks.
OR
He/she should have completed M.Sc. Electronic Science/ Electronics/ Physics with specialization in Electronics or Instrumentation with aggregate of 55% marks.
Note: 5% relaxation in minimum eligibility will be given to blind/physically and visually handicapped candidates.
Pattern of Entrance Examination:
The duration of the exam is one hour and a total of 100 marks. There will be no negative marking.
Admission Procedure:
1. Aspirants who can apply for the M.Tech courses should have passed GATE/GPAT with valid score in the concerned subject need not to appear in the Entrance Test and they will be considered for admission to the concerned programme.
2. Remaining seats vacant for M.Tech courses will be filled up by the concerned department/institute strictly on the basis of merit of Entrance Test.

M.tech in Energy and Environmental Management - 15,000/-
For M.Tech Instrumentation Engineering - 66,125/-
