MPT/MOT/MPO- WBPGPASAT Entrance Results 2011

MPT/MOT/MPO- WBPGPASAT Entrance Results 2011 will most probably be declared on 8th July, 2011. The examination for MPT/MOT/MPO was conducted on 19th June, 2011. Conducted by The West Bengal University of Health Sciences, Kolkata, through WBPGPASAT (West Bengal Post Graduate Physiotherapy and Allied Subject Admission Test) exams, the total number of seats are as follows:

• Master of Physiotherapy (MPT) (Orthopedics) - 06
• Master of Occupational Therapy (MOT) (Orthopedics)- 06
• Masters of Science in Prosthetics and Orthotics (P.O)- 06

Merit list of candidates

• The rank of the candidates will be determined on the basis of the marks obtained by them in the qualifying examination in order of decreasing marks.
• In the event of more than one candidate securing the same marks, the rank shall be determined according to the following principles:
• The relative position of such candidates in the merit list will be determined on the basis of the number of wrong answers, i.e. , the candidate giving more wrong answers will be placed in lower position in the merit list.
• If the ranks of the candidates can be determined by application of the above principle, the candidate older by age will be in the higher rank than the candidate younger by age.
• There shall be a combined and separate merit list indicating merit position for the SC/ST/OBC/Physically challenged candidates, wherever applicable.
• The reservation for OBC candidates will be applicable only for NIOH.
• Counseling for selection of candidates for admission
• Admission will be made through personal appearance (Counseling) strictly according to the time schedule to be published by WBUHS. For personal appearance the candidates will be called in order of merit.
• The provisional merit list as well as the venue, date and time of counseling will be available at the notice-board of the WBUHS and its website. No separate information will be sent to individual candidate in this regard.

The candidate appearing for counseling after WBPGPASAT Entrance Results 2011, will have to bring the following original documents along with their attested copies :

• Admit Card of West Bengal Post Graduate Physiotherapy and allied subject admission test (WBPGPASAT).
• Mark-sheet (s) of Bachelor of Physiotherapy (B.P.T.)/ Bachelor of Science (Physiotherapy)/Bachelor of Science (P.O.)/ B.P.O./Bachelor of Science (O.T.) (B.O.T.) examination . (As the case may be)
• Proof of age, e.g., Admit Card or School Leaving Certificate or Certificate
• of Madhyamik or Secondary School Examination or equivalent examination authorities.
• SC/ST/OBC/PC certificate, if applicable from the appropriate official.
• Internship completion certificate.
• Any other relevant document/documents.
