Saurashtra University, one of the renowned universities in Rajkot, Gujarat will conduct its Ph.D. Entrance Examination for the discipline of ‘Wildlife Science' on July 6, 2012 from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm. This examination has been targeted towards those candidates willing to pursue a career in the wildlife sector.

 Eligibility criteria:

For taking this entrance, a student must have fulfilled the following criteria:

  • Candidate must have a post-graduate degree with 55% marks in Life Sciences (Botany/Zoology/Forestry/Statistics/Experimental Biology/ Environmental Science/ Biological Science/Wildlife Science/Agriculture/M.V.Sc.).
  • 5% relaxation in marks will be given to OBC, SC/ST & physically challenged applicants.

Exam structure:

The entrance exam is multiple-choice based with four answer options for each question. There's no negative marking. The test carries 100 marks weightage and it is essential for a candidate to obtain an aggregate of 50 marks to qualify the Ph.D. Entrance Test. For detailed syllabus please, click here.

This entrance test will take place at Wildlife Institute of India, P.O. Box # 18, Chandrabani, Dehradun - 248 001 (Uttarakhand).
