UGC NET on 24th December, 2011

The National Educational Testing Bureau of University Grants Commission (UGC) conducts National Eligibility test (NET). It is conducted to conclude eligibility for lectureship and for award of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) for Indian nationals in order to ensure minimum standards for the entrants in the teaching profession and research. 

UGC NET 2011 dates have been announced and it will be conducted on 24th December, 2011. The online applications for December 2011, UGC NET are being invited. Detailed procedure to apply for UGC NET 2011 is generally published in the Employment news in the month of March and September and it can also be downloaded from the UGC website.

Generally, this test is conducted twice in a year in the months of June and December. The result for UGC NET conducted in June, is generally declared in October. Likewise, for UGC NET conducted in December, results can be expected in the month of April.
