The eligibility criteria for admission to M.Tech programs at Bengaluru Central University (BCU) include a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or BTech from a recognised university, with a minimum duration of four years. General and OBC category candidates must have a minimum of 50% marks in the qualifying bachelor's degree examination, while SC/ST and Category-I candidates must have a minimum of 45% marks. A valid GATE score is mandatory for admission to most M.Tech programs at BCU, with the requirement varying depending on the chosen programme and specialization. The selection process typically includes GATE score, academic performance in qualifying examinations, and an entrance test or interview conducted by the university. Some M.Tech programs at BCU may have additional eligibility criteria or specific requirements beyond the general points. For more information, visit the BCU M.Tech Programs website or contact the admissions office/department of your desired program.

Bengaluru Central University (BCU) is an esteemed state university located in Karnataka, known for its MBA/PGDM and BBA programs. The applicants who want to pursue an MBA can take admission on the basis of entrance test such as PGCET, CAT, MAT, JMET, or ATMA. On the other hand, admission to BBA programs is based on the merit score of the entrance test and 10 + 2 eligibility criteria as per UGC guidelines. The application process is based on the choice based system which is formulated by the UGC, and the candidates are selected on the basis of the merit score. BCU also offers many scholarships to the eligible students on the basis of merit score and their financial background as a support.

Both Bengaluru Central University and Banaras Hindu University are well known institutions. Both has a great infrastructure and campus, with well qualified faculties. Both the Universities provide great career opportunities in different fields. But in my opinion, Banaras Hindu University is a better option, and it also has better placements with around 70% students getting placed each year.
