It is the best college in Gujarat.

Placements: Hindustan Unilever, Adani, Reliance, Aditya Birla, Saint Gobain, and many other companies visit our campus for recruitment. Recruitment depends on the policies of companies, but mostly there is an aptitude test to reach the interview. The placement percentage is 70%–75%.

Infrastructure: The hostel facility at this college is good. Every room has three numbers and has three beds for each member. There is a common bathroom for the students. The meal quality is not up to the mark. An improvement is necessary in the quality of meals. The menu is good. Wi-Fi is also provided in the hostel.

Faculty: The course curriculum includes lectures, seminars, team management, and analytical skills. We have compulsory fieldwork for credits. We have fieldwork in four sectors. It includes rural and urban NGOs or government agencies, medical settings, and industrial settings. This gives an idea of the market as well as life skills. It also helps in securing on-campus placements. There are 50 students in our class. The course fee is Rs. 51,000 per year.

Not worth the fees, curriculum, faculty members, infrastructure, and placements.

Placements: This college does not have a placement cell. Mostly, students have to find a job themselves. Sometimes faculty do share if there is a job opening in local companies. The college do provide internships in an company. Common job packages are 2.4 LPA for students.

Infrastructure: College is not a modern infrastructure. College does have an average lab for daily practicals with the necessary instruments. It also has a library with enough and a limited books related to the course. There are no Wi-Fi facilities. There are no hostel facilities and canteen. College organizes a sports week every year.

Faculty: As this is a private college and not GTU affiliated, very few teachers are qualified and knowledgeable. Most teachers have no experience and are graduated in same college previously. The teaching quality is average, and practical sessions are performed daily. The curriculum provides the foundation knowledge of the course. The exams are not hard and are easily scored. The student is required to get 35%.

Other: The fees are very high compared to a good GTU university. Not worth the expenses.

Review of C. U. Shah University.

Placements: I was a student in the 2012 batch. At that time, it was not a university and came under GTU. Placements were not provided to us at that time.

Infrastructure: I was a day scholar. Our college provided all of the facilities, like Wi-Fi and computers. Our college had a library. The campus was very clean and neat. It had 3 different buildings for diploma, B.E, and MBA. It also had a canteen, which served delicious food.

Faculty: We had the best faculty members. They were very helpful. They were always ready to help at any time, even on off days. If any students had queries, then they tried to resolve them. The first 2 semesters were difficult as compared to others, as they contained math.
