The Central University of Haryana does offer fee refunds as per UGC guidelines:100% refund if withdrawal is 15+ days before the last admission date.90% if less than 15 days before, 80% if within 15 days after, and 50% within 30 days after the last admission date.The refund is not available beyond 30 days after the date of last admission. The Central University of Haryana offers entrance-based admissions. Candidates have to qualify for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) to be eligible for undergraduate and postgraduate programs. The university does not offer merit-based direct admissions.

For admission to Central University of Haryana, the aspiring canididates need to qualify CUET UG exam. Candidates with a valid CUET-UG score are eligible to register for the counselling round. To be eligible for CUET-UG counselling round, candidates need to fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria set by the University. The final selection is based on the merit list released by the university.

Candidates seeking admission via CUET-UG and CUET-PG must fill up the application form for the specific exam. Central University of Haryana has selected students for most of the PG courses like MTech, MBA, MSc, MCom, etc. based on the CUET-PG score. CUET-UG is considered for the Integrated BSc-MSc programme. Other national-level entrance exams like GATE, JEE Main, etc. are also accepted by the university. Candidates applying on the basis of entrance exams other than CUET are required to pay the course fee to confirm the seat in the university after selection.

To get a seat in MBA in Central University, eligibility criteria are required to score at least 50% in CUET PG 2024 exam (45% for reserved categories). The test will be on general awareness, reasoning, data interpretation, and English language, and it consists of 100 multiple-choice questions. The Central University of Haryana CUET PG cutoff 2024 has been released for MA, MBA, MSc, MCom, MCA, M.Lib.I.Sc,  MTTM and PG Diploma courses. As per the CUH cuet cut off 2024, the scores ranged between 9 and 250 for the General AI category students. The most competitive course was MA in Psychology, followed by MA in Sociology with a cutoff score of 250 and 200, respectively. So, considering the CUET PG cutoff score, candidates seeking admission at the Central University of Haryana must secure upto 250 for the students belonging to the General AI category.  For the OBC category students, the cutoff scores ranged between 26 and 244 under the AI quota. For this category, the toughest course to get into CUH was MA in Psychology. The easiest programme was MTech in Energy Systems and Management.  

Central University of Haryana cuet cut off 2024 has been released for LLB and B.Ed courses. As per the Round 1 CUET UG cutoff 2024, the score for LLB was 195 and for the B.Ed course, the cuet score was 99 for the students belonigng to the General AI category students. During the CHU 2023 cutoff, the Bachelor of Law (LLB) cuet score stood at 45. For the OBC category candidates, the cutoff score were 170 and 86 for the LLB and B.Ed courses, respectively.
