First year itself! A lot of the students do internships with NGOs, legal aid cells, or junior advocates just to get exposure.By second year, people start interning with law firms or in-house legal teams. The career development cell helps, but honestly, professors and seniors also give you contacts. It's a gradual build-up, so by the end of the degree, students have interned in multiple places and gained a good amount of experience and exposure.

Technology is a big part of the curriculum for Law here at IILM University, Gurugram.Courses like Cyber Law, Intellectual Property Rights, and AI in Law are taught with practical case studies. Professors also encourage the use of digital research databases like SCC Online and Manupatra instead of relying only on physical books. For projects, there have been assignments on topics like data privacy laws in India vs. GDPR, which shows how global frameworks connect with Indian law.

Attendance is important, yes. They usually expect 75% minimum. But it's not impossible — classes are engaging, and if you manage your time well, you won't face issues. Plus, regular attendance helps in internal marks too.
