The NET exam does not accept candidates who have finished their PGDCA programme from PRSU or any other institution. Before applying for the National Eligibility Test (NET) candidates need to hold a master's degree in M.Sc., MA and M.Com and equivalent fields and achieve at least 55% marks with 50% being the minimum for candidates from reserved categories. The Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications (PGDCA) functions as a Diploma whereas it does not fulfill the criteria for holding a master's degree.
