While NATA remains a significant factor for admission to most architecture colleges, exceptions exist for prestigious institutes like the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) and National Institutes of Technology (NITs), which conduct their entrance exams or consider scores from exams like JEE Main Paper 2.To be eligible for direct admission in B.Arch colleges, candidates must have secured a minimum of 45% marks (40% marks for reserved category) from a recognised Board with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as core subjects in 10+2.NATA 2024 exam is compulsory for B.Arch admission in India except in NITs, IITs, and SPAs.
