    Established in 2017, Sarala Birla University (SBU) is a self-financed private unitary university, located in Ranchi, Jharkhand. The university was established by Bharat Arogya and Gyan Mandir through the Sarla Birla University Act, that was passed by the Jharkhand Legislative Assembly. The University is recognised by the Government of Jharkhand and is approved by UGC. Through its schools and colleges, Sarala Birla University offers 25 top courses at UG, PG, and research levels in Engineering & Computer Sciences, Humanities & Linguistics, Commerce & Business Management, Legal Studies, Pharmacy, and Yoga & Naturopathy.     Students got jobs from this college in 2015. I have a good experience here.
    Placements: A maximum number of students are placed in my course. The lowest package offered starts from 1 LPA and the highest package offered is 8 LPA. The last I remember one Jamshedpur company came for placements. For internship purposes, this college may allow us everywhere.
    Infrastructure: The lab facility is good. All types of machines and other objects are available for all courses. Every classroom has an LED, and monitor for studying, and also a projector. In the library, the system is good for studying alone silently with arrangements too.
    Faculty: Teachers are so helpful to all students with any queries. They explain the questions in very detail. The coordinators of all courses are good. They informed us everything, which is more important for students just like placement offers of any company.
    Other: I chose the mechanical branch because of being a good employer for a good company like CL or Tata and get a good amount of salary.

    The college website doesn't work properly. Food quality is top-notch.
    Placements: In Diploma, hardly 1 or 2 companies come for hiring. The placement rate is not good at all. Very few students get hired over time. They show that many big companies like IBM, Amazon, and Google come for hiring, but only Accenture and one more company, I forgot the name of, came for hiring.
    Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good. We have access to labs. Every room has a smart board and a projector. There is a 24/7 electricity supply, and we have purified water, either cold or hot, to choose from. The quality and hygiene of the mess and canteen food are top-notch.
    Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and very friendly. The teaching quality is fabulous, which makes students industry-ready. The semester exams are moderate. The mid-semesters are too easy, but you study for the end-sem examinations. Around 85% of students pass without failing any exams. The rest are students who have studied nothing, which is why they fail. Class notes are enough to pass exams.
    Other: I chose this course because I have to pursue B.Tech in the future, and my goal is to become a full-stack developer. I wish they would have been more on practical learning than theoretical.

    Short summary of Sarala Birla University .
    Placements: Our college offered placements to many students in our course, which would be around 80 percent but the placements were pretty mediocre; the package was around 1.4 LPA to 1.9 LPA. There were more regional companies, and one of those companies was Timken India, based in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand.
    Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi available for students; the labs are average; they have equipment that can be used to learn. I personally didn't opt for hostel but from the perspective of what I saw, the hostel was average and the mess facility for the hostel was available for the students .
    Faculty: The core faculty of my branch were helpful and helped in a lot of activities like major and minor projects. They were helpful in classrooms too, as they helped to grasp the concept for the students in the classroom. There were two exams per semester: mid-semester exams and end-semester exams. The pass percentage was around 60 percent .
    Other: I chose this course because I thought it would help me gain knowledge and experience for jobs in companies like Tata Steel.

    SBU is known for its infrastructure with a high placement record in Ranchi.
    Placements: Almost 20% of students were placed in our course. Byju's and TCS are the top recruiting companies for this course. Technicians and operators were offered roles in our course. INR 4 LPA is the highest package, the lowest is INR 2 LPA, and the average package is INR 3 LPA. Almost 70% of students got internships.
    Infrastructure: The college offered world-class infrastructure full of greenery on 60-acre land. The university is well-equipped with High-teach labs, digital classrooms Wi-Fi facilities, etc. The hostel is best for girls as compared with boys; the food quality is best in a mess, as are the cafeteria, medical facilities, and sports facilities.
    Faculty: The professors are highly qualified, Ph.D. holders and full of knowledge. The teaching quality is unacceptable. This course structure is relevant to our curriculum and helpful for industry-oriented Semester exams are not so difficult but they do score. The pass percentage is 35%.

    Best private college of Ranchi.
    Placements: A total of 63% students were placed from previous batch with the highest package of 6.5 Lacs per annum and the lowest of 3 Lacs per annum. The top recruiting companies are TCS and Wipro. A total of 93% students got internship local companies. The top roles offered in this course are web developer and software developer.
    Infrastructure: The facilities provided are well managed classrooms with sufficient fans and good lighting. Labs and library are air conditioned and are open for students during college hours. There are teachers to guide us in every lab. The library has a huge variety of books. Mess and canteen both are available in the campus itself with the best and hygienic food within affordable price. There's are 2 grounds for students to play on and sports teachers are also there to guide us and teach us various sports.
    Faculty: The faculty members are really helpful and well knowledgeable. All the faculty members have completed their Masters and PhDs from well known universities. They always ensure that the students become industry ready by taking practical tests twice in a week. The semester exams are moderate but as the faculty members co-operate, they become easy for students. The pass percentage is 100%.
    Other: I chose this course because I wanted to get into technical field from the beginning. The best thing about this course is that it gives us practical knowledge and makes us industry ready. Although the college can improve the practical knowledge by conducting competitions and championship. The college also conducts many co-curricular activities such as annual fest, sports day along with saraswati puja and vishwakarma puja.

    This college can be considered as an option in Jharkhand.
    Placements: SBU has good placement records. I am currently in my second year, and I am not placed yet. The number of students is rising. Hence, there will be a decline in the placement ratio in upcoming years.
    Infrastructure: Our college has decent infrastructure. Compared to other colleges, you find it better in terms of infrastructure. Classrooms are good and huge. Labs are modern. There is a mess, but it takes a very high amount. Sports facilities are negligible, and you will not get any better opportunities.
    Faculty: The course curriculum is average. It only targets the theory. Semester exams are easy to pass. If you fail, you have to give backlogs, which are very disgusting. The pass percentage is only 33% in semester exams, which is good.
    Other: Events are not organised yet.
