Yes, seats are reserved at Telangana University. For every Telanagana University course, 85 percent of the seats are reserved for the local candidates who have the domicile of Nizamabad and Adilabad. While determining the number of seats reserved in favor of local candidates, any fraction of a seat is counted in favor of local candidates provided there is at least one unreserved seat for which locals and non-locals compete.
The admission process of Telangana University is based on the TUCET/OU Common Entrance Test (Conducted by the Osmania University, Hyderabad) rank and eligibility criteria subject to the rule of reservation. The University strictly follows the rule of reservation as per the government norms and ensures strict adherence to the reservations into various categories.
