How to download Admit Card for ICAI Exam 2019

ICAI Institute of Chartered Accountants of India conducts CA programme and related exams to produce well trained Chartered Accountants in the country. The ICAI programme included three stages - CPT, Intermediate and Final. Any candidate who wished to pursue CA as a career, will have to register for CPT and qualify its exam after six months, to move to the next level.

The ICAI exam for each level is conducted across India at various test centres. To be able to appear in the ICAI exams, the candidate will need an admit card. The admit card for ICAI exam is issued by ICAI a few days before the commencement of exam. ICAI Exam 2019 admit cards will be issued as per the programme schedule, to be announced soon.

Candidates who will submit the application form by post/ courier to the office will get ICAI Exam 2019 admit card within the 21 days of prior. And those who filled the form online will get admit card online as per the schedule.

Each candidate must carry his/her admit card for ICAI exam 2019 to the exam centre or else the candidate will not be allowed to enter the exam hall.

Therefore the candidates must ensure they have received their admit cards on time. In case of a person who didn’t get admit card on time must contact the ICAI exam office.

Follow the steps to download the admit card:

  • Visit ICAI official website
  • Click on Login/Registration tab
  • Login using login ID (registration number) and password
  • Click on the tab indicating admit card
  • Download the admit card

Change of ICAI exam 2019 test centre or medium of exam:

Candidates who want to change the centre of the examination will get one-week time before the commencement of the exam. The whole procedure will be online. This online facility will be available in two separate sessions. The first opportunity (Correction Window) will be free of cost. For the second opportunity (Corrections with fee-Window) the candidates will be required to pay Rs 1000/-.

The applicants who applied through OMR forms may apply for corrections by hard copy application with Demand Draft of Rs 1000/- towards fee for correction/change. Candidates will be required to upload the scanned copy of a handwritten/typed application for change of Centre/Medium proper signed by them.

The change of centre will be announced to the candidates by way of email/letter. No fresh ICAI exam admit Card will be issued to the candidates who have changed their exam centre or exam medium. They will be required to appear in the CPT, with the admit card already issued along with a copy of the approval letter/e-mail sent to them.

Important Clarifications about ICAI exam admit card

  • If the photo or signature is missing on your ICAI exam admit card, don’t panic. Attach the photo to the admit card, sign it and get it attested by a practicing Chartered Accountant
  • If there is any misprint on the admit card, immediately approach the exam convener
  • No physical copy of the admit card will be sent to any candidate. Admit cards can be downloaded online only
  • The council has now removed only three times download rule. You can download admit card from your account any number of times.
