Beyond Academics: How VJIM Shaped My Growth and Leadership Skills
I chose BiPC as my course of study for classes 11 and 12 as my core strengths and interest always lie in the Science subject right from school, where I excelled with 96.7% percentile. In relation to further specific interest, Plant Science and Horticulture were some of my favourite subjects, so I went for Horticulture Science as my undergraduate course.

Getting Admission
I cracked the admission at Vignana Jyothi Institute of Management for PGDM only through self-studying. I attempted admission through the CMAT entrance examination where I got 78% percentile. Though counselling based on seats available, I got admission into VJIM. I also had contacted a Consultancy to ease my admission as I wanted a reliable path while thinking how to get in touch with the college. Overall, this college seemed to be the best choice for my postgraduation.
Looking Back at My College Life
Being a Management Postgraduate, I believe that the entire curriculum was designed in such a way that every student got to interact with each other; we have been assigned tasks where we meet new friends and workmates through which I have established strong networking and connections.
I also participated in the Rural Immersion Program, where I got to know about the various farming practices of local farmers. I learnt more from an individualistic perspective to understand and exhibit leadership with team building and Management skills. This has been helpful in paving a step upward in my career.
The support from the faculty and my classmates also helped me a lot in my studies. I believe that, you learn more when you delve into real-life conversations with your mentors. Just by looking at notes, one cannot get the full knowledge of whatever they might be studying or interested in.
If given a chance, I would like to conduct student elections in college where everyone can utilise their right to vote from the college itself, and would also like to work together with friends to build a quality life.
My Future Goals
I strive to become a successful Entrepreneur in the future. My time at VJIM has taught me several important skills necessary to build self as a professional in the Management field. Entrepreneurship has always been one of my interests. Watching successful businessmen on the television and other social media platforms has made me more indulged into this field. I know that focus along with being persistent is one of the ways I will be able to reach my future goals.
