The National School of Open Learning (NIOS) has released the official NIOS Date sheet for Class 10 on their official website on September 4, 2019. The NIOS exams for Class 10 will begin on October 4, 2019, and end on November 1, 2019. The practical examinations will take place prior to the theory exams, starting September 16, 2019. Students can check the complete date sheet given below.
The hall tickets will be released online on the Board’s website. The results will be declared within six weeks of the examination. The maximum time duration for most of the exams is 3 hours, except for a few subjects.

How to download NIOS Class 10 Date Sheet 2019 for October Exams:
Step-1- Visit the official website.
Step-2- Click on the 'Examination/Result' section available on the topmost menu.
Step-3- Then, click on the link of NIOS 10th date sheet 2019 for October.
Step-4- A PDF will open.
Step 5- Students must download the NIOS Date Sheet of 10th class.
Important points
- The admit cards of the NIOS exam will be available online on the Board's website.
- The Board has released the notification for both the Indian students as well as the Overseas students.

The practical exams for different subjects will be held at the respective assigned institutions (AIs).
- Timings for all exams will be from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm, except for the following subjects:
Home Science (2:30 pm to 5 pm), Mathematics (2:30 pm to 5 pm), Painting (2:30 to 4 pm), Data Entry Operations (2:30 to 4:30 pm), Science & Technology (2:30 pm to 5 pm)
Preparation tips for NIOS Class 10 exams:
1. Make a time table/ schedule
Students must chalk out a time table/ schedule that should have all the important topics on priority so that the main things are covered well in time.
2. Analyse the syllabus
Students should go through the NIOS Syllabus and analyse it thoroughly. Marking scheme, pattern should also be taken care of while preparing for NIOS exams.
3. Solve previous years’ papers
Solving a bunch of question papers before giving the actual exam helps a student in managing the time as well as the students get an idea of the questions that are expected in the NIOS exam.
4. Make notes
Making notes should be one of the most important parts of the study schedule. Notes help in learning quickly and also come handy at the time of revision and all the last-minute preparations.
