Class 12 NIOS exams are scheduled from October 3 to November 1, 2019. Read to know more.

The National School of Open Learning (NIOS), on September 4, 2019, released the official NIOS Date sheet for Class 12 on their official website. The NIOS exams for Class 12 are slated to begin from October 3, 2019, and will go on till November 1, 2019. The practical examinations will start on September 16, 2019. Students can check the complete date sheet given below. The hall tickets will be released online on the Board’s website. The results will be declared within six weeks of the examination. The maximum time duration for most of the exams is 3 hours, except for a few subjects, that are listed below.

How to download NIOS Class 12 Date Sheet 2019 for October Exams:

Step-1- Visit the official website.

Step-2- Click on the 'Examination/Result' section available on the topmost menu.

Step-3- Then, click on the link of NIOS 12^th date sheet 2019 for October.

Step-4- A PDF will open that must be downloaded by the candidates.

Important points

• The admit cards of the NIOS exam will be available online on the Board's website.
• The Board has released the notification for both the Indian students as well as the Overseas students.

• The practical exams for different subjects will be held at the respective assigned institutions (AIs).

• Timings for all exams will be from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm, except for Painting (2:30 to 4 pm) and Data Entry Operations (2:30 to 4:30 pm).

1. Analyse the syllabus

Students should go through the NIOS Syllabus and analyse it thoroughly. Marking scheme, pattern should also be taken care of while preparing for NIOS exams.

2. Make a time table/ schedule

Students must chalk out a time table/ schedule that should have all the important topics on priority so that the main things are covered well in time.

3. Solve previous years’ papers

Solving a bunch of question papers before giving the actual exam helps a student in managing the time as well as the student gain an idea of the questions that are expected in the NIOS exam.

 4. Make notes

Making notes is one of the most important parts of the study schedule. They help in learning quickly and also come handy at the time of revision and all the last-minute preparations.
