SRM BTech admission via SRMJEEE: Registration, Dates, Counselling Process & Seat Allotment
SRMJEE (SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Examination) is a university-level entrance examination conducted by SRM Institute of Science and Technology. The examination is held for candidates seeking admission into the SRMIST campuses. The SRMIST campuses are situated in Chennai, Delhi NCR (Ghaziabad), Sonepat (Haryana), and Andhra Pradesh. The examination is held in online mode. The exam pattern for SRIMST has been revised in 2025. Candidates will be required to answer 130 questions, the count for which was 125 earlier. Also, the exam pattern has been changed from having five sections to four, as the English and Aptitude sections have been merged into one. SRMJEEE Counselling Procedure 2025
Once the results for SRJEEE are out, candidates who have been declared qualified will be eligible to participate in the counselling process. The process for counselling is fully online. The step-by-step process for SRMJEEE counselling is given below:
- Students are required to log in to the portal and check their results.
- Students who have qualified will be required to complete the SRM choice filling 2025 to select the preferred course and campus.
- Based on the availability of seats and cutoff, the seat allotment will be done as per the SRMJEEE choice filling 2025 marked.
- Candidates who have confirmed the seat will be required to pay the necessary fee for confirmation of admission.
- Candidates will be confirmed the admission to the institute after the fee payment.

Given below is the list of documents required for the SRMJEEE document verification process:

SRMJEEE 2025 Rank Card.
- Qualifying examination admit card/hall ticket.
- 12th standard (or equivalent) examination mark sheet.
- 10th standard (or equivalent) examination mark sheet.
- Photo identity proof – need to carry the original and a photocopy.
- Cancelled cheque leaf with the name of the candidate/parent/grandparent printed.
- Receipt(s) for payment made through the E-Pay facility or a Demand Draft.
SRMJEEE Seat Allotment 2025
SRMJEEE seat allotment is done in two phases. Each phase is done separately for each round of counselling. Candidates are allotted a seat on the basis of performance in the SRMJEEE exam. Candidates are required to confirm their admission by paying the admission fee.
