To understand what BAMS aspirants truly aim for, we recently conducted a poll, and the results were loud and clear. 83% chose a BAMS doctor as their dream career. While this shows the strong preference for clinical practice, it’s not the only path available after BAMS.

We conducted a poll asking BAMS students, β€œWhat is your dream job after completing BAMS?” and received 368 responses. The results indicate a dominant preference for clinical roles, with a massive 83% of respondents choosing BAMS Doctor as their ideal career. 

Top BAMS Jobs

Other roles like Clinical Research Associate and Medical Supervisor were selected by only 4% each, while Drug Manufacturer attracted 2% votes. Interestingly, 7% of participants chose β€œOthers,” suggesting interest in unconventional or emerging roles beyond traditional pathways.

This data reflects a strong inclination toward clinical practice, but also highlights the need for greater awareness about diverse career options after BAMS.
