WBBSE Class 10th Results 2018: Know Toppers
The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) declared Class 10th (Madhyamik Pariksha) results on June 6. The results are available on the official website and to check the same, candidates will require their Roll number and Date of Birth.
Sanjibani Debnath from Suniti Academy, Coochbihar has secured the first rank with 689 marks. She is closely followed by Sirshendu Saha at the second position with 688 marks. This year, as many as 56 students are in the top ten list.
The third position is jointly shared by Mayurakshi Saha, Nilabja Das and Mrinmoy Mondal with 687 marks. While Mayurakshi is from Sunity Academy, Coochbehar, Nilabja and Mrinmoy are from Jalpaiguri Zilla School, Jalpaiguri.

WBBSE Class X (Madhyamik Pariksha) exam was conducted from March 12 to March 21 at 2,819 centres across the state. This year, around 11,02,921, candidates appeared for the exam. Out of these, 6,21,366 were female aspirants while 4,81,555 were male candidates.
According to latest information, 8,99,564 candidates have successfully cleared the examination. The number has dipped in comparison to last year.
The overall pass percentage is 85.49%. East Mindnapre topped among the districts by securing a pass percentage of 96.13 per cent followed by West Midnapore and Kolkata. Kolkata secured a pass percentage of 91.11.
WBCHSE Class 12 examination results are expected to be declared on June 8.
