CBSE 10th, 12th Migration Certificate: How to get a migration certificate from CBSE?
CBSE 10th Board Exams 2026 and CBSE 12th Board Exams 2026 will be conducted between February 17 and April 10, 2026, in pen and paper format. The final CBSE 10th Results 2026 and CBSE 12th Result 2026 will likely be released in June and May 2026, respectively. After the announcement of CBSE results 2026, students can download their CBSE Class 10 migration certificate and CBSE Class 12 migration certificate online through Digilocker. Students must note that downloading DigiLocker app is not mandatory. Students can simply go to the online website digilocker.gov.in to download the CBSE Migration certificate. Additionally, students can also download their CBSE mark sheet from the DigiLocker online portal.
Here's how to download CBSE Migration Certificate
Follow the simple steps below for CBSE migration certificate download 2026:
- Visit website of DigiLocker, i.e. digilocker.gov.in, or download the official app from Google Play Store or Apple Store on your smartphone.
- Use a verified mobile number registered with the CBSE Board to log in.
- Use the OTP received on the registered mobile number to login to DigiLocker account.
- Please note- You must use the mobile number that you gave at the time of filling the CBSE application form. Students may even access the DigiLocker account by registering through their Aadhar Card number – which was provided.
- After entering the OTP, the system would prompt the students for a security pin. Use the last six digits of the CBSE Roll number as mentioned on the CBSE 10th Admit Card 2026/ CBSE 12th Admit Card 2026 as the security pin.
- Once logged in, students can check and download their CBSE 12th Board Exams 2026/ CBSE 10th Board Exams 2026 Migration Certificate online from a list of documents on the dashboard itself.
Note: Students can also download CBSE 10th, 12th pass certificates and CBSE 10th mark sheet as well as CBSE 12th marksheet through DigiLocker.

In case you're unable to attend a CBSE 12th board exam, you will be given zero marks in the subject. Soon, you will be asked to appear for the supplementary exam. Thus, it is better to focus and study hard and not skip or leave your exam to pass with flying colours.
CBSE is expected to release the CBSE exam Class 12 2026 date sheet for Compartment exams in June 2026. The Class 12 supplementary exams 2026 will likely be held on July 15, 2026 for all subjects and the results for the same will be out in August first week, tentatively.
Pls note that the Board has renamed the compartment exams as the supplementary exams.
CBSE Class 10 date sheet 2026 for Phase 1 exams can be checked on cbse.gov.in. The Phase 1 exams were held between Feb 17 and March 11, 2026.
CBSE Class 10, 12 Results 2026
CBSE results 2026 Class 10, 12 will be out in May 2026. Students can check and download CBSE 10th results and CBSE 12th results from the official website of the Board, cbse.gov.in.
Meanwhile, students will be able to download CBSE Class 10 migration certificate 2026 and migration certificate CBSE Class 12 2026 only after the release of CBSE 10th Results 2026 and CBSE 12th Results 2026.
