CBSE 10th Result 2026: The Central Board of Secondary Education is expected to announce the Phase 1 CBSE Class 10 result in April 2026. The result will be announced at results.cbse.nic.in, cbseresults.nic.in, cbse.nic.in or cbse.gov.in. The direct link to check CBSE 10th Class Board exam result will be provided on this page. Students need to enter the required credentials to check the result. They can also check CBSE 10th exam result through SMS, IVRS, Digilocker and Umang App. Last year, the result was announced on May 13, 2025 at 1 PM. The overall pass percentage was 93.66.

Students must note that they will need a PIN to download their marksheet from the app. How do you get it? To strengthen the security and privacy of the students data, the PIN has been introduced. 

To confirm the DigiLocker account, students will first have to select their class and then enter their school code, and roll number. Further, they access the six-digit security PIN from their schools. The PIN will be provided by their school. If the same is not received, students will have to contact their schools. CBSE 10th Phase 2 Result 2026

CBSE 10th Class Phase 2 exam is scheduled to be held in May-June. The result will be announced in June. This is considered as improvement exam. All passed and eligible students will be allowed to improve their performance in any of the three subjects out of Science, Mathematics, Social, Science and languages in the Phase 2 exam. If a student has not appeared in 3 or more subject in first examination, then they will not be allowed to appear in the second exam. Such students will be placed in the "Essential Repeat" category and can take the examination only next year in the main examinations in February. For students whose result in the first examination is Compartment, such students will be allowed to appear in second examination under Compartment Category. Additional Subject will not be permitted after passing class 10, students will not be allowed in stand-alone subjects. The eligibility to appear in the second examination is given below.

Students can calculate the CGPA by following the instructions provided.

Add the grade points of five main subjects

Now, divide number by 5

For example, the grade points for 5 subjects respectively are 8,8,7,9,8

Total= (8+8+7+9+8) = 40

Now average grade = 40/5

CGPA = 8

To convert the overall Cumulative Grade into a percentage, multiply it by 9.5

Students can now apply to obtain photocopies of their answer sheet by paying a fee without having to necessarily apply for verification or revaluation. Students will be required to pay INR 500 per subject for verification of marks as well as for obtaining photocopies of evaluated mark sheets. The application process for the re-evaluation of the answer sheets starts in June. The re-evaluation fee per subject is INR 100. CBSE 10th Rechecking/Revaluation Result is announced in June.

Students who are not satisfied with their marks can apply for rechecking or revaluation of the papers by paying a fee. The process involves rechecking the marks by a different examiner while verification checks for any clerical error. They can also apply for verification of marks. Students are required to fill out the verification application form online on the official website. Once the application form is submitted, the board re-checks the answer sheets for totalling errors, missing out marks while totalling, or unchecked/ unmarked questions. After re-checking, the board will share the result with the students and allow them to request a photocopy of their re-checked CBSE Class 10th result.
