CBSE 10th Result 2023: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is likely to release the CBSE Class 10 Result 2023 by the end of May given that the exams were completed on March 21, 2023. The result will be available on the website - cbse.nic.in, cbseresults.nic.in or cbse.gov.in. Students can check their CBSE 10th Result 2023 using their admit card roll no, DOB, the centre, and school number. The passing criteria for CBSE Class 10 exams is that a student must secure an overall 33% (including internal assessment and Class 10th Board examination) in all the subjects.

Latest Update

CBSE states that the CBSE marksheets cum passing certificate and migration certificate available through DigiLocker with digital signature are also considered valid.
Last year, the CBSE Result for Class 10 was declared on July 22 in online mode on the official website. CBSE Compartment Result 2022 Class 10 was declared on September 9, 2022. The Class 10 compartment examinations were held from August 23 to August 29, 2022. The overall pass percentage was recorded at 94.40%.

- Add the scored grade points of the main five subjects
- Now, divide the number by 5
Let's say the grade points for 5 subjects respectively are 8,8,7,9,8
Total= (8+8+7+9+8) = 40
Now average grade = 40/5

The students who are not satisfied with their CBSE Class 10 result 2023 can apply for the verification process. Students will be required to fill out the verification application form online on the official website. Once the application form is submitted, the board will re-check the answer sheets for totalling errors, missing out marks while totalling, or unchecked/ unmarked questions. After re-checking, the board will share the result with the students and allow them to request a photocopy of their re-checked CBSE Class 10th result 2023.

Revaluation or rechecking of Class 10 CBSE Result 2023
In case, students feel unsatisfied with their marks in the CBSE 10th Result 2023, they can apply for re-evaluation. The online portal to register for re-checking/ re-evaluation will be activated in July.
- The portal will remain active for 2 -3 days
- Students need to pay a re-evaluation fee of Rs 100 per question to register online. The fee is non-refundable
