The  Board released CBSE 10th, 12th results 2022 online on its official website, cbse.nic.in as on DigiLocker and UMANG app. CBSE Results 2022 for 10th, 12th students have been released on the basis of 30:70 assessment criteria. 30% weightage has been given to Term 1 exam and 70% weightage has been given to the Term 2 exams.

CBSE 10th, 12th Results 2022 Re-evaluation & Verification of Marks

CBSE 10th, 12th Revaluation, Verification of Marks: The Central Board of Secondary Education announced CBSE Result 2022 for Class 10th, 12th. The board released the Class 10, 12 results online on July 22, 2022. The  Board released CBSE 10th, 12th results 2022 online on its official website, cbse.nic.in as on DigiLocker and UMANG app. CBSE Results 2022 for 10th, 12th students have been released on the basis of 30:70 assessment criteria. 30% weightage has been given to Term 1 exam and 70% weightage has been given to the Term 2 exams.

“Many students are contacting us talking about their results. Some are confused with their marks. I would like to tell all students not to panic. The Board is commencing the revaluation process soon. Students can apply for phoptocopy of marksheet, revaluation, etc. The Board is there to assist them with their queries. The Results got delayed a bit but students must take it on a positive note and follow the process to get their quesries resolved,” says Aditi Gosia, PGT, Abhinav Public School.

Not satisfied with CBSE Results 2022? Here is what to do

Students who are not satisfied with their CBSE 10th, 12th scorecard 2022 must note that the board is all set commence the re-evaluation process from tomorrow, i.e. July 26, 2022. Under the re-evaluation process, students can apply for rechecking of their CBSE 10th/12th answer sheets. The revaluation window for both CBSE 10th 12th Results would be activated on cbse.gov.in tomorrow. “My term 1 exams went really good as compared to Term 2 exams. With 30:70 weightage ratio, my result is not what I expected. In addition, my mathematics examination went really well but the marks that I received does not justify my expectation. I am looking forward to CBSE revaluation process to get clarification on the same. Finger are crossed,” said Priyanka Kataria, a CBSE 10th student from St. Giri Senior Secondary School.

CBSE Result Re-evaluation Schedule

CBSE Result 2022 Re-evaluation is a three step process, namely

Step 1: Verification of Marks (Checking for totaling errors)

Step 2: Display of photocopy of answer sheets

Step 3: Re-evaluation of Answers

CBSE Verification of Marks: Students must note that CBSE will open the window for applying for the verification of marks process from July 26, 2022 to July 28, 2022 (Until 11:59 pm). In order to apply for CBSE verification of marks, students are required to deposit INR 500 per subject. As the first step, students apply for verification of marks. Under this, the board get the answer sheets checked again for totaling errors, missing out of marks that were not awarded or any unchecked/ unmarked questions. The board then releases the verification of mark result and give students the opportunity for requesting photocopy of their answer sheets.

CBSE Photocopy of Answer Sheet: The window for obtaining a photocopy of marksheet will open from August 8 to August 9, 2022 (until 11:59 pm). Students are required to deposit INR 500 per answer sheet. For CBSE 12th answer sheet, students are required to deposit INR 700 per paper. With the release of CBSE verification of marks result, students can decide to move to the second step. Students can opt for this step irrespective of the fact that the marks have changes after verification or not. Students can request photocopy of answer sheet only for the subjects/ papers in which the student had applied for verification. Students cannot proceed directly for step 2 without opting for step 1, i.e. CBSE verification of marks.  

CBSE Re-evaluation:  Students must note that the window for applying for re-evaluation of CBSE 10th/ 12th marks will open from August 13 to August 14 until 11:59 pm. Students are required to deposit INR 100 per answer sheet. After step 2, the board shares the photocopy of the answer sheet requested by the student. Students can then check their answers against the correct answers and ask for a re-evaluation of their answers. Under this, students can only apply for re-evaluation of questions and not for the entire paper. Only the questions asked for re-evaluation would be re-evaluated by the Board.

Again, students can apply for re-evaluation process only for the papers for which they had requested photocopy of answer sheet. Application fee is mandatory for each step.

CBSE Class 10 and 12 Rechecking: How to apply for CBSE Re-evaluation?

  • Open official CBSE website –cbse.gov.in.
  • On the homepage, click on the link “School Request Submission For Resolution (Srsr) (Term-I Exam Result-2022)”.
  • Now click on ‘School Login’.
  • Enter the credentials to access school page.
  • Once logged in, schools can request CBSE Result Revaluation.
  • Submit the request and wait for the resolution.

CBSE Re-evaluation Process: Important Points to Remember

  • No application after the scheduled date or time or in offline mode will be accepted.
  • Processing charges are non-refundable.
  • Only those candidates who apply for verification of marks will be eligible to apply for photocopy of answer sheet.
  • Photocopy of the Answer Book (s) under RTI-ACT-2005 will be provided as per provisions of RTI Act, 2005. However, a request for verification and/or re-evaluation cannot be made under RTI ACT and shall not be entertained.

CBSE 10th, 12th Results 2022: Compartment Exams

According to the official data shared by CBSE, 5.14%, i.e. 107689 students have been placed under the compartment category by CBSE. Students who could not clear board exams will have to appear for CBSE Compartment Exams 2022 in August. The compartment exams will be held from August 23 onwards. The Board will release the CBSE 10th, 12th compartment exam date sheet 2022 soon. Additionally, those who fail to crack compartment exams too will have to repeat the class. The compartment exams will be on the lines of CBSE term 2 exams.

How to apply for CBSE Compartment Exam 2022?

Step 1: Open the official website of CBSE, cbse.gov.in

Step 2: Go to the “Recent Announcements” section.

Step 3: Click on the link that reads “CBSE Compartment Application Form 2022” link.

Step 4: The link will be redirected to a new page.

Step 5: Download the CBSE Compartment Application Form

Step 6: Fill the compartment exam form and submit the same to your respective schools.
