Mystory@Sudip Dey: How I chose my career path
People care was my biggest commitment in life and as a class monitor in college I provided new ideas to fellow students with reference to the booming Hospital Management course. As initially, people didn’t know much about the benefit and curriculum of this management study, as we would not become doctors after studying this course. That was the biggest challenge for all of us in that era. I have participated in so many conferences and learning sessions, and given lectures on hospital administration.
When I got into job, I found that theory and practical is utterly different. Hospital is a very complex organisation, hence we had to observe the feasibility first before implementing our theory based knowledge. But my college was an example that taught us through case studies and solving practical problems.
Being an Hospital Management & Administration personnel, I would like to inform you that please be with people and understand their health related challenges, their struggles and try to help them overcome the same through affordable facility and cost. Make "Health for all" the moto of life.
