Talking of Mechanical Engineering:
Thanks to the reservation system, it depends on your caste. If you're from SC/ST, a rank of somewhere around 200 would be enough. If you belong to the OBC categories then a rank of around 100150 would do. Here comes the big one!

AIT is better, as I'll give you a location preference at first. Bangalore is one of the biggest hubs for IT companies, plus the college has great placements and great infrastructures along with the faculty members.

There is Acharya Institute of Technology which offers MBA under VTU, whereas, Acharya Bangalore Business School offers MBA under Bangalore University.

Hello Shubham,
Among the two, you should definitely go for President University-Bangalore for CSE and ISE rather than SJBIT-Bangalore or AIT, as the Presidency University is best in terms of Placement, academic, infrastructure, etc. Hence, go for it. All the best.

Nitte Meenakshi Institute of Technology is the best college for BE in aeronautics.Even I'm persuing my BE in NMIT.

Acharya and Dayanand, both these institutions have great academic reputation and one need not worry on that count. But, it's difficult to place one with the other. I feel you can join any one if these two. Best wishes.

Hello Bharath, frankly speaking there is nothing much to distinguish between these two good institutions. Both have a good academic reputation as well as a reputation for placements. I feel you should take admission in any one of them.
