Academy of Maritime Education and Training is a private university and was established in 1993. It is deemed to be a university and is recognised by the UGC. Further, it has also been accredited by the NBA and NAAC with an A grade. The university also provides placement assistance to students and helps them in resume building, interview preparation, and job search strategies. 

Candidates need to complete Class 12 with PCB/ PCM/ PCMB with at least 45% aggregate to apply at AMET University Powered by Emversity. Hence, aspirants with 60% in Class 12 can apply for admission provided they have studied all the specified subjects Candidates must also pass the entrance exam accepted by the university for admission.

Candidates are required to pass the entrance exam of the university for admission. AMET University Powered by Emversity considers the scores of the aspirants in the entrance test for selection. Besides, aspirants must also fulfil the eligibility requirements for a seat in the preferred course of AMET. After completion of the selection process, shortlisted candidates need to pay the course fee to confirm their seat.

Candidates who have completed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or PCB or PCMB with at least 45% aggregate are eligible to apply for BSc (Hons) programme at AMET University Powered by Emversity. Candidates must hold the documents proving their eligibility for verification at the time of admission.
