Good facilities and infrastructure .
Placements: Most of the students of our course were placed but most of them got them from outside as our college does not provide good placements. The highest package received was around 2.5 LPA, average packages were nearly 2LPA.
30-35% students got their internships this year, internships were not mandatory for the students.
Infrastructure: Our college infrastructure and facilities were very good and helpful for the students. Most of the classrooms were clean and tidy. There were well-equipped labs and workshops available, Wi-Fi available, big library available. Hostel facilities were not available. Food served in the canteen was not so bad, variety of items available. Sports equipments were available for students. Emergency medical services available.
Faculty: Most of our teachers and faculty members were well educated and qualified. Our teachers were experienced professionals. They were very helpful. Their teaching process was very advanced but easy to understand. Our course curriculum is relevant and it make the students ready for the industry.

Very friendly and helpful faculty members.
Placements: Around 75% of the students were placed this year in many top companies. Most of the students got their placements from outside the campus. The highest package received was around 3 LPA and the average packages were nearly 2.5 LPA. Internships weren't mandatory for the students. 40% students got their internships this year.
Infrastructure: Our college infrastructure is very good. There are modern projector enabled classrooms and virtual classrooms available. Labs are well-equipped with different labs being available for different subjects. Computer labs are equipped with more than 150 computers along with language rooms, and training rooms made available by the college. There is a big library inside the campus with lots of valuable books. Hostel facilities are not available. Canteen food is hygienic with a variety of items made available. Sports facilities and emergency medical facilities are available.
Faculty: Our teachers were very helpful. Most of them were well educated and very knowledgeable. Their teaching quality was very good. Our practical and theory classes helped us prepare for the industry. Our semester exams were not so difficult with an average passing percentage of nearly 65%.

One of the best Polytechnic college in Hooghly.
Placements: Nearly 80% students from our course were placed but most of them got their placements from outside. The highest package received was around 2.5LPA and the average packages were around 2 LPA. Internship programmes of our college are very poor and 35-40% students got their internships this year.
Infrastructure: Our college provides and maintains some good facilities for the students. Our labs were very advanced and equipped with modern technologies. Virtual classrooms are available. There are computer labs with more than 100 computers available for the students. Language rooms and a big centralized library with lots of valuable books and journals are available for the students. Medical facilities for emergencies are provided by the college. Canteen food was tasty with a variety of items.
Faculty: Most of our faculty members were highly educated and qualified. They were very helpful and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality was good and useful for us. Our course curriculum was relevant in making the students ready for the industry. Our semester exams were not so tough with an average passing percentage of around 60%. .

Arambagh Government Polytechnic College.
Placements: Every year 80 to 90% student get placed in various MNC's and remaining student pursue higher studies. The highest package offered is of 12 Lacs per year and average package is of 6 to 7 Lacs and for the lowest it is 2.5 t 3 Lacs. 100% students get internships in different domain like web development, application development, Ml, etc.
Infrastructure: The college is infrastructure is quite good enough. Classrooms are spacious, ventilated properly. Various advance technology are present in our classrooms like smart boards. Different labs are present for different courses and they are huge enough. Wi-Fi facility is available through out the college campus. Library consist of many technical books and online website is to download soft copies of newly launched books. Living space is clean & food is hygienic.
Faculty: I am currently in computer science. The quality of teaching is excellent, faculty members are skilled in different domain. Along with theoretical knowledge, practical knowledge is provided to student like hands on project, assignments, etc. The courses are designed by industry experts and are up to date. Course structure consist of all newly booming technology knowledge.
Other:
The cost of course per year is almost around 1.5 Lacs. Yes, it is worthy because a good guidance is provided over here. And updated syllabus provide student a huge platform to explore their interest and different competitions conducted in college challenge student to check their capabilities. So, it is worthy.
The college campus is quite big enough. College campus consist of 2 canteens, 1 cafu00e9, playground, Gym and swimming area. Different co-curricular activities can be done in this campus area. The campus area is within the city so it can handle emergencies very easily. The location of campus is within a city and it is safe.

Dissatisfied with the placements, but it has good faculty.
Placements: It is hard to believe, but despite being a government college, not a single company visited our college for placements. From my stream, many students got jobs, including me, but not from our college placements. Some of us got jobs from job fairs held in other colleges, and some of us got jobs from pool campus drives of other colleges. Mechanical and electrical students got jobs in that manner, but there was nothing for civil students. None of us got internships, and there was zero assistance from our college regarding that.
Infrastructure: Our college has no hostel facility, so if you are interested, you have to stay at nearby PG. The infrastructure of our college is really beautiful. We have all the necessary machines and equipment in our designated labs and workshops. Our college has neat and tidy washrooms, very big classrooms, and we have smart classrooms as well. We have a very modern seminar hall, and we have a common room and a sports room. All the books related to every stream are available and easily accessible to all students at any time. The food available in the canteen is satisfactory.
Faculty: The placements are not good. But the education quality provided here is top-notch. All the teachers in our college are highly skilled and qualified. Our mechanical department is the best in our college, and our teachers are very strict but supportive. Hardly one fails in examinations. The course curriculum is relevant, but it doesn't make students industry-ready.
Other: Annual sports are held here. A fresher's party is also organised by seniors. There is no ragging in our college. The language might be a problem because a majority of students are Bengali, and all teachers are Bengali. Non-Bengali students have to suffer because I've also suffered a lot of problems while understanding the language.

All of our students love Arambagh Government Polytechnic College.
Placements: About 50% of students are placed in our course. This college is under the state government, so the salary packages are very low. The top company recruits our students. Some students got internships. This college is very good and teachers also help us and support us. So join our college positively.
Infrastructure: Our college campus has so many facilities but there is no hostel and proper canteen. Students get food in the mess. Students play games and many other things. They are always happy to see our college. The college garden is so beautiful. During the winter season, many flowers grow in our college garden.
Faculty: Very good teaching and many instruments are available in our college. All teachers are very responsible in their teaching and students also respect our teachers. The semester exam is not difficult in our college. Our college is very hard working for exams and has a high pass percentage.
Other: It is a good college.
