KSG College of Arts and Science is most often ranked as a Tier 2 college. Though it provides good education standard and openness of the degree programs and undergraduate and postgraduate courses, it is not as popular as the Tier 1 colleges of India, IITs or NITs for example. The college has a decent placement % to enhance, which provides an average package of Rs 3-4.5 lacs per annum based on the course. This is well recognised in the region because of the institution's commitment to academics, industry based programs and skills development. Nevertheless, the school has produced limited research and is not equipped with international rankings.
