Review of Avanthi Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Hyderabad.
Placements: The placement scenario at Avanthi Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Hyderabad, is moderately promising. Around 40-50% of students secure placements, mainly in pharmaceutical companies like Hetero, Divis, Cipla, and Ranbaxy. The average package ranges from 2.5-3.5 LPA. Internships are offered in firms such as GSK, Janssen, and Biogen. The college provides placement training and has an active entrepreneurship cell, but students often need to reach out to companies themselves. Overall, placement support is decent, especially for students with strong academic performance and communication skills.
Infrastructure: Overall, the infrastructure is well-developed for pharmacy education, with a focus on practical training and digital resources. Hostel life is decent, with basic amenities and a safe environment. However, some students prefer off-campus PGs for more comfort.
Faculty: The course structure is relevant and evolving, with decent faculty support and a curriculum that balances theory with practical exposure. Semester exams are manageable with consistent study. The pass rate reflects a fair academic standard. It was a great experience.
Other: Avanthi Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (B. Pharma, batch 2021-2025) offers solid practical training, knowledgeable faculty, and industry-relevant subjects like pharmacovigilance and regulatory affairs. The campus near Ramoji Film City is peaceful and well-connected. It organises diverse events, including pharmacy week and APOTHEKE fest. Scholarships, sports, and NSS activities add to student life, though placement and digital integration could be better.
