As compared to other colleges in surrounding, this college has better infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: I am a four-year undergraduate program (FYUGP) student. I don't know about the percentage but only 28 students are present in my Physics honours session 2022-2026. Right now no one gets any package offer but many get jobs offered through various companies through internship programs.
Infrastructure: I don't know about others but in my Physics department facilities and infrastructure are available for students. Wi-Fi is available only for the college library. Canteen present in college from which you can get study materials and food through the canteen. Events such as fresher party and sports tournament will be organized annually.
Faculty: In my first year of college, there are not enough teachers available for other departments (mathematics and chemistry) but right now all settled and regular 2 to 3 classes will be provided in a weak. All teachers are well knowledgeable and qualified in their respective subjects.
Other: I chose Physics as honors because Physics became my favorite subject after my 12th and I want to know more about this subject. Physics is all about feeling so practical will be provided as compared to theoretical. I have not taken part in any events but all these things are happening in this college.

How good was college life?
Infrastructure: Our college provides a free campus for daily activities and a free library for learning and skill development. I belong to a local place, so I don't need a hostel, but there are some hostels that are in very good condition and affordable. Our college organizes every game's tournament for our future in sports.
Faculty: This college has very skilled teachers who are actually very supportive and helpful to us. For a bright future, it totally depends on students who are serious about their future. The college is ready to give us opportunities and offers, but students need to be serious about their future.
Other: I'm very happy because, firstly, this college is located near my home, and secondly, it is a very budget-friendly college for a Bachelor's degree.

A tier 3 city college with basic-minimum facilities and affordable.
Placements: This is a rural college situated in the Maithon Dam. Students from nearby cities came to study because it was affordable and had barely any facilities. Talking about placements, this college doesn't have a record of placement; no company has ever come or tried to hire from the campus.
Infrastructure: This college is situated just high before the national highway; therefore, connectivity is good, but there is no hostel available for students, no Wi-Fi and yes, there are facilities like classrooms and libraries. The main building is pretty attractive and decent.
Faculty: Due to the low facilities and lack of communication between students, the college lacks transparency. No one knows when a notification will come, and within 3 to 6 days, they will conduct an exam. Even the staff knows how this thing is being managed; if you have a question, you find yourself wondering to multiple teachers and offices.
Other: Small campus near the national highway and industries in the neighborhood.

It is the best college for all students from middle-class or lower-class families.
Placements: We are from the B.Com. Honours batch. The highest salary package offered is 25 LPA, and the lowest is 12 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Reliance Jio, Wipro, and Tata. Almost 40% of students get jobs. The top roles offered are manager and CEO.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are neat and clean. All the facilities are available here. Sometimes, electric problems occur that are solved in about 2 to 3 hours. All departments have their own classrooms. They have a separate canteen. The food in the canteen is of almost good quality.
Faculty: All teachers are supportive. They are best in their own fields. They support and motivate us. The syllabus is completed before the exams. They provide notes. Online classes are also taken by teachers. They help us to find the right way.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted to complete my graduation with honours in accounting. I can attempt higher education from outside.

Review of B. S. K. College, Maithon.
Placements: College does not provide placements but we have several other benefits which cannot be ignored.
Infrastructure: College infrastructure has been vastly improved. Campus is very clean with well maintained classrooms. Toilets are also very clean. Lights and fans work fine. Canteen food is good and affordable. College has a volleyball court, a kabbadi court, and a football field.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and very knowledgeable with good teaching methods and quality teaching techniques. The course is very relevant it opens a lot of high paying job opportunities. Semester exams are not that difficult if one is ready they can easily score good marks. Minimum percentage required to pass is 40%.
Other: I chose B.Com because it opens a lot of job opportunities in accounting, finance, taxation, insurance, economics, etc. One can become an accountant, a financial analyst, etc.

It is an awesome college with decent placements and faculty members.
Placements: Placements of our college are great as it has been experiencing an increasing trend. All the companies visit here for placements and hire a good number of students. The placement team has been working on the ways to improve it, but at our time, i.e., in 2016, I would rate the placements as quiet average.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is quite average, and it has some of the basic amenities which are required in day to day life. Classrooms are equipped with some measures for smart learning, and the college has good labs. The canteen is quite organised in preparing good quality food.
Faculty: Faculty members of our college are quite knowledgeable and outstanding with decades of experience. The course curriculum is well-ordered and structured to make students ready for industrial needs.
