There was one major recruiter (TCS), but now, that has also been subdued, and no good companies visit the college.

Experience is just okay, not so good. You could go to another college in this field, like MCKV, etc.
Placements: The highest package is 4 LPA. Two percent got internships. Overall, the experiences are good. The top company that comes for placements is EY. They will give you an unpaid internship or else a sales job, which in my view is the worst.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi and labs are good. Sports like football, cricket, and indoor games are available, and you can also participate in online games and many more.
Faculty: Some teachers are helpful, while others are not, they also show partiality. They will give you marks mainly based on your attendance, not on your work. They know that everything in the PPTs is copied, but they still tell you to do them and give marks based on your attendance, not on the PPT.
Other: The events are okay at this college, but the experiences are not so good or that exciting.

It has great campus life, supportive faculty, decent placements, and industry-relevant exposure.
Placements: B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering, Information Technology, Electronic and Communication Engineering, and various fields. TCS, Wipro, Accenture, and many companies are available in the placement cell, so it's quite good for us. College offers some unpaid internships.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi and various types of infrastructure are available, and a smart room is also available in the class, but library is so small that you can't study in it. This is a huge fault, canteen is big and enjoyable, which is very good for us, and this is quite good.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is Helpful. Good colleges often have faculty who are approachable and offer support during and outside class hours. Look for faculty profiles on the official college website. Most good institutions list degrees, research, and teaching experience. Knowledgeable, this is usually reflected in how updated the content is, how deeply they explain concepts, and student reviews. Teaching quality can be judged by student feedback, use of modern teaching aids, practical application through projects or labs, industry guest lectures, or workshops. A good curriculum.
Other: I was part of the B.Tech CSE batch of 2023. I chose this course due to my strong interest in programming and emerging technologies. Best aspects were the practical labs, coding events, and industry-relevant topics like AI and Data Science. However, the curriculum could be updated more frequently to match current trends. Campus hosts vibrant tech and cultural fests, and the crowd is energetic and diverse. Connectivity to the city is good, with nearby transport options. Scholarships are available based on merit. Extracurricular clubs, sports facilities, and workshops added greatly to the overall college experience.

It's just an average tier 3 college, try getting into MSIT or RCCIIT, as they are better.
Placements: About 10-20% of students from my course are placed through either campus or off-campus drives. The highest package offered in our course is around 9 LPA, received by a student placed at a product-based startup through off-campus efforts. The lowest package is approximately 30 LPA, mostly from service-based companies. The average package hovered around 4.5 to 5 LPA. Top recruiters included TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, and a few mid-size companies like Zensar, Cognizant, and LTI. Around 4-5% of students from our course managed to secure internships, mostly during the 3rd year.
Infrastructure: College is far away from the main city and provides a very bad experience with only a few transport options. The college bus is available only from Science City. There is no proper hostel around the college, and I wouldn't recommend staying there. The college has old computers and no AC, so one has to suffer in the heat.
Faculty: Teachers are not worthy of teaching you from scratch., like Tripti and others. Rather, you just have to go to college regularly and get nothing in return, only good internals, then no teaching. It's better to learn everything on YouTube, not in class. The faculty is educated well, but they only teach for the semester, and their style is not up to the mark.
Other: It's better to try to avoid getting into.

I suggest students get admission and come to take exams.
Placements: 20-30% of students get placements. The highest package is 13 LPA, and the lowest package is 4 LPA. The average package ranges from 4-5 LPA. Companies like TCS, Infosys, and startups hire students from the college. Internships are not clarified by the college yet, but it is mandatory at the university. The top roles offered in our college are to learn by ourselves, read by ourselves, and get placed by ourselves.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are available for my college. Laboratories of each department are there with well-qualified teachers and professors. Wi-Fi is there, and classroom strength is right normal. The library facilities are also there, and we get all books from the library. The college does not provide any hostel facilities. It provides third-party PG owners, and most of the students say the food is below average.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified and knowledgeable. They don't really help students to get scored in any of the subjects with their full potential. The course curriculum is relevant. Students are getting ready for industries on their own, and college do not have any of them. Semester exams are very tough there. The question papers level is very tough, and it is provided by Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology.
Other: I chose computer science and engineering because I was not able to crack IIT JEE and I did not want to waste my year so I took admission at this college. I am preparing and focusing on my skill-building ability in coding. I think teachers should be changed. There are qualified teachers but they are teaching the old modules. Events and fests are organised in the college. The campus crowd is quite normal. The connectivity is good. There is a connectivity with a bus from all over the city.

It is one of the best engineering colleges in West Bengal under MAKAUT, WB.
Placements: Being a tier 3 college you can't expect a placement rate like a tier 1 college. This college is a sample of exceptions. Being a college of Techno India Group (TIG) there is a system of campusing through TIG where all the engineering colleges of TIG participate so most of the students grab a good and decent placement through this process. Although college also provides campusing. The placement rate is above 80%. It varies from year to year. The highest package offered till now is above 20 LPA. The average salary package offered ranges between 5 LPA - 7 LPA. Some of the top recruiting companies are TCS, CTS, IBM, and Accenture.
Infrastructure: The college has high-speed Wi-Fi, high-quality labs, E-classrooms, AC classrooms, well stocked library, a canteen, playground required for a CSE student are available in this college. There are many PGs available for residing near the college. PGs provide good quality foods.
Faculty: Faculty members are very helpful and friendly. They always provide the best support to students from their sides. All the faculty members are well-qualified and knowledgeable. Many faculty members are Ph.D. degree holders. Semester exams are conducted by MAKAUT, WB as the college is affiliated with this university. A serious and consistent student can pass semester exams easily but scoring a good CGPA is quite hard.
Other: All types of events for extracurricular activities are held in this college which are valuable to gain MAR points as per AICTE rules. Government. scholarships provided are WB SVMCM (both minority & non-minority), MCM, Aikyashree, and Oasis as well as many private scholarships are also provided if students apply for them.

A little bit about BIT (Bengal Institute of Technology).
Placements: The college placements are quite good. Many companies visit the college for placements. This year the highest salary package offered is 24 LPA. The average salary package offered ranges between 6-10 LPA. Basically, companies like TCS hired many students from the college.
Infrastructure: Classrooms, a library, halls, offices, and labs all are clean and in a working position which has a good effect on students' studies. There is no personal hostel by college but around the college or nearby college, there are many PGs for both boys and girls separately.
Faculty: Faculty members are very helpful, understanding, and very friendly. The course curriculum makes the course period easier and more interesting in this college. Due to the nice faculty members and organised curriculum, the course period gets easier and more interesting. There are a total of 4 years, which means 8 semesters, and each semester happens after 6 months.
Other: The course is of 4 years. Batchmates are very nice and polite. Everyone has different interests in the tech field.
