This also entails the internet registration, the counselling fee, proper filling and locking of college/branch choices (including CIT), followed by attending the seat allotment, document verification and final payment of fee at the institute.

In case of CSE (General, All India), ranks are closed usually around 58,000-110,000 in WBJEE but it may be higher (e.g. around 163,000 to 1.2 million), depending on the round/source in JEE Main. The other branches are usually not that competitive. To be qualified to attend 10+2 and to attend at the centralized WBJEE counselling is vital.
