After all this is a good college to take admission.
Placements: 30 students study computer science. The highest package is Rs. 50,000 and the lowest package is Rs. 15,000. 98% of our students have done internships at this college. Every semester the companies are coming. After all this is a good college to take admission in any subject.
Infrastructure: This college has free Wi-Fi access. Lab room is neat and clean. Classrooms are also good. There has no hostel. But outside the college there has some mess. This college library is very beautiful. You can go library and read books and even bring books at home for 2 weeks.
Faculty: Teachers are friendly. The teachers are qualified Ph.D. and all teacher's behavior is too good. In computer science, students' pass percentage is 98.5%. The teachers in all departments in this college are very good and everyone loves them very much. If you ask them for help, they will help you.
Other: Nowadays, the era has become completely computerized, so computer science is everything to us, that's why we chose computer science now.

My college: Pace of Life.
Placements: 90% of students are placed. The highest package I have seen is $25,000, and the lowest is 12,000. We have summer internship opportunities where we get a certificate. Also, our teachers guide us to complete some online internships, and the offline internships are quite interesting and enjoyable.
Infrastructure: We have nice labs, classrooms, and a library. We don't have hostel facilities, but we have nearby hostels. Our security staff of the college can guide you about this; you can contact him for these. Our labs are way too good than other colleges. Classrooms are pretty cool, and the library is good.
Faculty: I am not qualified to judge our faculty members, but they are way too good for my explanation. Semester exams are normal, but our teachers give good suggestions for exams, so we can rely on them. But our teachers are better than other colleges; I think they guide us whenever we need them.
Other: I wanted to know about it. We have different scholarship opportunities.

College is good but located in rural place.
Placements: Electrical engineering department and renewable engineering department have good placement but computer science and technology is very bad. Electrical has more placements at this college. Recruiting companies are Tata, etc. Placements are good.
Infrastructure: There is no single hostel or not any shop to buy food in tiffin time. We need hostel for this college to stay. We need to open some shops so students can buy food during tiffin time. If there is a hostel and some shops then it seems to be good.
Faculty: Teachers are very good. They have good behavior. They help students many times. Teaching quality is also good but some teachers are not good. They do not help with anything. Semester exam is very difficult in electrical engineering. Many students get supplies and a year back for this reason.
Other: My course is electrical engineering (DEE). Its hard course but has good placement.

Canning Government Polytechnic: A Mixed Bag of Faculty Concerns and Impressive Infrastructure.
Placements: There are more placement opportunities for students in Electrical and Renewable Energy departments, whereas students of Computer Science and Technology Engineering often prefer pursuing higher studies such as B.Tech. The average package available is between Rs. 15000 to Rs. 20000. There are many companies available offering internships. Our department recently completed an internship under Ardent company. Our college offers 3 courses, i.e., Computer Science and Technology Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and another one is Renewable Energy. Renewable Energy is a newly conceptualized course that our college is only offering throughout West Bengal.
Infrastructure: The college has excellent infrastructure, including computer labs and electrical labs. The college has a library, classrooms, laboratory. Also, there is a place in the ground for playing Cricket and volleyball. But there is no hostel yet, but nearly some messes are available where students stay.
Faculty: Our college has experienced faculty in every course. This college offers Diploma courses which are full time and recognized by approving bodies like AICTE. Students can take admission in these courses after passing 10th. The semester exams in this college are moderately difficult, especially 1st Semester and 5th Semester. The average percentage which students of our college get is 70%. Our College also provides different scholarships such as Swami Vivekananda Scholarship, OASIS, etc.
Other: I have chosen this course because I found it interesting and it's my type as I am always interested in Computer Courses and it gives the freedom to learn different languages such as Python, Java, C etc. I think one thing which should be improved is, different types of shops should be there in front of college where daily necessary items will be available. Our college hosts various programs every year, such as Saraswati Puja, Annual Sports, Cultural Programmes, Freshers, Farewell, etc.

It's still a considerable improvement compared to what I would expect at such a low fee.
Placements: My college is quite new, having opened around 2019, and boasts good placement opportunities. Several companies, such as Wipro and many others, visit our campus, offering salaries on par with what a Diploma engineer can expect, albeit not very high.
Infrastructure: Despite being a government Polytechnic college, the infrastructure is excellent. We have computer labs and various labs for electrical students, although there is a lack of a canteen, mess, hostel facilities, and cultural activities.
Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified, including some from IIT, but they primarily teach in Bengali. This poses a significant problem for non-Bengali students like me, as explanations are also delivered in Bengali. Attendance is mandatory, and some students have been barred from exams due to insufficient attendance.

Our Polytechnic college is the best in West Bengal.
Placements: 90% of students in my course get placed. The highest package means that after completing it, we will get a job, and our salary will be INR 25 to 30k per month. And the highest salary will be INR 3 to 4 Lacs per annum. Recruiting companies are Tata, IT, NA/W workshops, etc. Top roles are offered in welding, carpentry, electrical, electronics, graphic, etc.
Infrastructure: There are three courses in our college: Computer Science and Technology, Electrical Engineering, and Renewable Energy.
There is no hostel. Sports and games are available. There is no canteen; it will be established in the future. Labs are available for each subject, like physics, chemistry, etc.
Faculty: Two internal exams and one external exam are available for all-year students. Teachers are very good; they teach us very good language, and they help us as friends. 98 percent of students graduated from college.
Other: I've had an interest in computers since I was a child, so I chose it. IT class is the best of my choices. If lab classes are always available, it could be good. Government scholarships are provided.
