Good for exams but not recommended for IT job preparation.
Placements: Our college did not provide any placement opportunities for our batch. Companies did not visit for campus recruitment, and we didn't have proper training or career guidance for job preparation. As a result, students had to search for jobs and internships on their own. There was no placement cell support or tie-ups with recruiting companies. I believe the college needs to seriously improve its efforts in this area to support students in their career journey.
Infrastructure: They provided computer lab and physics lab facilities, which were good.
Faculty: Teachers were less qualified, but their teaching pattern was good. All the college needed was to improve the qualification of teachers for IT. They conducted module exams, which were very helpful. My college was affiliated with Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University, so the exams were easy, and the passing rate for Central College of IT was 60%.
Other: I chose the course because I thought that IT would be helpful for my future. As I already told above, they had to improve their teachers in the field of IT because, in other subjects like Maths and Physics, teachers were good. The college conducted events like introduction programs, sports, and Saraswati Puja. Scholarships were available, but I was from the general category, so they were not for me. As an IT student, my suggestion was to not get admission to this college because there were no qualified teachers for the IT subject.
