Dissatisfied with the lack of practical support and academic guidance from the college.
Placements: There is no placement system for our B.Sc. Botany course as it is a general undergraduate course and it does not offer campus placements or packages. There is no highest, lowest, or average package and also no specific recruiting companies or job roles are offered. Similarly there are no course-specific internships provided by companies.
Infrastructure: Our college doesn't provide any Wi-Fi facility. Also, the labs are not very good. Most of the basic equipment like microscopes and others is not in good working condition. There's no hostel or canteen in the college. The library is decent with almost all the needed academic books. In sports and games, our college always gets better results than others.
Faculty: Some of the teachers are really helpful but the rest of them are not. Though most of them are very much qualified, they get lazy when it comes to taking the classes regularly and properly. The semester exams are not very difficult but due to a lack of guidance, students don't get good results.
Other: I chose this B.Sc. botany course as I like plants. The best things about this course are the field visits. I wish our labs would be more organized and student-friendly with upgraded equipment.

Charuchandra College has facility and B.A. English hons course advantage.
Placements: This was a great experience. This college offered internships from top MNCs and top private banks like HDFC Bank and Coca Cola company. Last semester, this company came to college campus to conduct interviews. They recruited students and offered high CTC like 5 LPA.
Infrastructure: Facilities were very good. College had AC rooms, Wi-Fi facilities, and a library room. College had a common rest room which included so many indoor games like chess and table tennis.
Faculty: Sibandu Chakraborty head faculty of English department B.A. English hons course had 32 papers and 8 semesters for 4 year course. Sibandu Chakraborty was very helpful teacher at this institution. Tanushree Nayak was most senior teacher of English, and her teaching skills were outstanding.
Other: College had scholarship options for poor students upto 5,000- 50,000 INR.

This college is good and it is in a nice location.
Placements: The percentage of students in my batch was 21. As we are political science students, we don't have that package thing here so I don't know much about it. I can tell you that in my batch, the teachers are very supportive and good.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure are average, I would say, as we don't have a canteen in the college but we do have a library that is good and comfortable for studying. If we talk about the classrooms, they're average, as some rooms are bigger and some are small.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and assist us in understanding the material nicely. They are well-qualified and knowledgeable. The difficulty level is pretty high but you can score good marks if you have done the chapter well and the pass percentage is good.
Other: I chose this course because I like the subject.

Not good placements at the college.
Placements: In B.Sc., there were not many placement opportunities available at our college. Hardly 10–15% of students get placements at our college. The college placement cell was not highly developed and active. No student gets internships at our college. Our college provides the best quality knowledge to the students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college was good. The campus of the college was very big. Every course has a different department building in the college. The college has both the physics and chemistry labs in it. The college has a library where students can get books at minimal cost. Sports facilities were available at the college.
Faculty: The faculty of our college were qualified and knowledgeable. Teachers were trying their best for the students. Regular classes were conducted and all the practicals were done under proper teacher vigilance. The course curriculum at our college was relevant. Exams were easy to pass.

Our college is good for studying because it has well-mannered staff members.
Placements: No placements were given by the college. No college gives placements after B.Com graduation.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure in classrooms is not great. The library is great. You get all the books for your course and other books for improving personalities and manners. Labs are great. All the useful things required are there. There is Wi-Fi connectivity. There is no hostel in our college. There is no canteen in our college. Football matches and ground sports are conducted.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. All have master's degrees or above. They provide us with different knowledge, so they are knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good. It makes us ready for practical job experience. Semesters are difficult, but a student studying with serious intention can easily qualify. The pass percentage is 82%.
Other: You get all the information about corporate life and the conditions faced in a market or firm. Everything is perfect. Events are conducted. There are a lot of crowds. It has good surroundings. Scholarship schemes are there.

Absolutely satisfied because of faculty, really good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: In our English honours department, there are about 70 students, and we had to secure 80% in our higher secondary to opt for this English honours course. After this course, we can opt for B.Ed and then M.A. Graduating under Calcutta University in our college is really advantageous for our future studies and career.
Infrastructure: As we are students of English honours, we don't have any laboratory work or any kind of fieldwork. So, we pursue our classes in the hall itself. The hall is big and spacious enough to accommodate all the students, and the speaker's voice is also clearly audible for all.
Faculty: The professors in our college are highly qualified. They teach us very well, and because of that, we don't have to pursue any extra classes after college, so it becomes easy for us. Our semester exams are moderate. The passing percentage in our batch is 100%. Most of the students got above 60%.
Other: I chose this course because I want to be an English teacher or professor, and for that, I had to pursue English honours.
