I'm currently studying at CMR Engineering College, and yes, it's definitely a well-known institute, especially in Telangana. Most students here choose this college because of its good reputation in academics and placements. It's affiliated with JNTU Hyderabad and has NBA and NAAC 'A' grade accreditations, which adds a lot of value to the degree. What I've personally liked is how the college focuses on both theory and practical skills. We get training for placements from the very beginning, and companies like Infosys, Capgemini, and Cognizant regularly visit the campus. There are also a lot of workshops, hackathons, and student clubs that help us grow beyond just classroom learning. Overall, CMR is a known name for engineering in this region, and most of us feel proud to be studying here.

I'm aiming for CMR's B.Tech, and admissions work like this: 70% of the seats are filled through rank-based TS EAMCET counseling—so good performance in PCM and EAMCET is key. The other 30% are management seats where you still need either an EAMCET rank or at least 50% in PCM—no freebies there. If you're a Diploma student, you've got the TS? ECET route into second year. So yep, it's a straightforward mix of entrance and merit.”

I chose to do my B.Tech at CMR Engineering College mainly because of its strong focus on both academics and placements. The college has a solid reputation in Hyderabad and is affiliated with JNTU-H, plus it's accredited by NAAC with an 'A' grade and NBA for several departments. The curriculum is up to date, and we get exposed to a lot of industry-relevant skills through workshops, coding challenges, and certification programs in AI, IoT, and cloud computing. The teaching here is quite good—faculty members are knowledgeable and supportive, and we also get access to modern labs, high-speed Wi-Fi, and a digital library. What makes B.Tech at CMR stand out the most is the placement support. From the second year, they start training us in aptitude, coding, and interview skills. Big companies like Infosys, TCS, and Capgemini visit for recruitment, and some of my seniors even got packages above ?8 LPA. There are also great student clubs, fests, and tech events that make the overall experience really balanced. If you're serious about getting both a good degree and good job opportunities, B.Tech at CMR is a great option.

As a student of CMR Engineering College, I can say that the college is famous for a reason. The infrastructure is top-notch with well-equipped labs, digital classrooms, and a Wi-Fi-enabled campus that makes learning easier. One of the best things here is the placement support — we get training from day one in coding, soft skills, and aptitude, and many students get placed in big companies like Infosys, Capgemini, and Cognizant. The faculty are experienced and supportive, and the college regularly organizes workshops, hackathons, and guest lectures by industry experts, which really help us stay updated. There are also a lot of active student clubs and fests like Synergy that make campus life fun and exciting. Overall, CMREC is known for balancing academics, placements, and extracurriculars really well.
