GATE 2025 Marks vs Rank: GATE 2025 will be announced on March 19, 2025. The GATE 2025 exam was conducted on February 1, 2, 15, and 16, 2025. After the Results, some important questions arise among candidates: How are the scores, ranks, and marks different? What are the utilization of rank, score and marks? All aspirants want to know what rank they will receive based on their GATE 2025 scores. For papers conducted in a single session: For all papers conducted in one session, actual marks obtained by the candidates will be used for calculating the GATE 2024 Score.

IIT Kharagpur - Indian Institute of Technology will release 6 rounds of JEE Advanced cutoffs for admission to B.Tech. The cutoffs will be released on a rolling basis, and the seats will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. The cutoffs will be based on the following factors:

IIT Kharagpur offers Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Post Graduate Diploma in Business Analytics (PGDBA) in the field of management. IIT Kharagpur admission to MBA is through CAT scores for VGSOM. Candidates seeking admission to the MBA course must have a valid overall score of 90 and sectional score of 50 each in CAT for Master of Business Administration (MBA).
For Post Graduate Diploma in Business Analytics (PGDBA), candidates required an overal CAT percentile of 85 and sectional percentile of 85 each in order to be eligible for the admissions. The aforementioned cutoffs have been anticipated from the past year cutoffs and may vary depending on various factors taken into consideration by the institute during MBA admissions.
For 2022, cut off was 4991 for General category candidates in All India quota for Integrated BTech (Hons) in Industrial Engineering + M.Tech. in Industrial Engineering and Management at IIT Kharagpur - Indian Institute of Technology. For female candidates in General category under All India quota, 12126 was the closing rank. BTech cut off varies depending on the category and domicile/quota of the applicant.
Students admitted to IIT Kharagpur's (Hons.)/Dual Degree/BBS Programs through JEE (Advanced) are only eligible to change their branch after fulfilling a set of rules. The students can change their branch after the second (spring) semester. The branch change cutoff for mathematics and computing in 2017–18 was 9.60. To be eligible, students must have obtained a GPA not lower than 8.5 at the end of the second (spring) semester, excluding the below subjects:

What is a good GATE rank?
Another question that bothers students is what can be considered a good rank regarding the GATE 2025 exam. For most of the engineering branches, a rank under 200 will confirm a call from PSU, while a rank under 1,000 has a good chance of getting your preferred branch in IITs or NITs.

For admission to BArch at IIT Kharagpur, you do need to take the JEE Advanced. JEE Advanced is only open to those who first pass the JEE Main. The final selection of students happens through JoSAA Counselling. You cannot be admitted to BArch at IIT Kharagpur unless you pass JEE Advanced.
